Submission Guidelines

All papers included in the LS15 Conference Proceedings will be refereed by members of the International Scientific Committee and Local Organizing Committee to enhance the status of the Proceedings, to help ensure its inclusion in a broader range of the major scientific and technical abstracting services, and to enable authors to cite their respective contributions as “refereed conference contributions.”

We will accept papers for LS15 by online submission on the symposium website (http://www.ls15.org) after January 1st, 2016. To submit papers it is necessary firstly to register on the website. For this first registration step select “Sign up for an account” in the “Paper Submission” page and follow the instructions. It is important to submit a complete set of data, in particular, providing a valid email address to ensure receipt of communications from the conference organization. To submit a paper following registration, please follow this link to the LS15 website: http://www.ls15.org.

Contributed Papers must be in English and should report original work, completed or in progress, that is related to the Science and Technology of Lighting. Papers should be formatted according to a prescribed template. The length of submitted Contributed Papers, including figures and references, should be 2 (min), 4 or 6 (max) pages; the even number being requested to make efficient use of space in the printed version of the Proceedings Volume. Invited Papers are subject to maximum limits of 10 pages in length with, as above, an even total number of pages. It is important to adhere to the format prescribed in the downloadable template. A downloadable template in MS-Word format is available for the preparation of papers prior to their conversion to pdf format and electronic submission. Only electronically submitted papers in pdf format will be considered for publication.

 

The deadline for receipt of both Invited Papers and Contributed Papers for guaranteed inclusion in the published conference proceedings, assuming referee approval, is:

As far as you can access to the submission site and upload your paper, it will be certainly reviewed. You are at least entitled to have a poster presentation for Contributed Papers only if accepted.


Authors will be informed within 14 days of the date of submission if their paper is accepted.

Copyright Transfer

In order for your paper to be published in the Conference Proceedings, it is necessary that the copyright is transferred to the Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan. Please, send a completed copyright transfer form together with your submitted paper.
